I really, really, really, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want to do this to my hair. But my family is not letting me...
JK actually. Not my whole family....my parents would probably be fine with it if I talked to them about it more.
But it's Ruchi. (mi hermana mayor). She's not letting it happen...I'd be too much of a disgrace to her AND she think's I will hate it after a while AND she thinks it will take a long time to grow out.

I side with her on that last one...which is why I'm starting to feel a little skeptical about this whole thanggg... I mean, who wants to have a little chunk of their hair growing out for a crapload of their high school years? Not me.

^^^^okay THIS is the most important one to look at. I know it might be kinda hard to see her hair. BUT. I really want this look. See how she's just lifting her hair and the buzzed part is kinda secretive?? THAT'S WHAT I WANT!!!^^^^

OH AND PS. MY FAVORITE CHEF IN THE ENTIRE WORLD (Nadia Giosia- host of Bitchin' Kitchen on the Cooking Channel) HAS A LITTLE BIT OF A SHAVED HEAD. AND WHEN SHE WEARS HER HAIR DOWN, YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE IT UNLESS SHE PARTS IT THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION.
